MiTAC’s new AI servers leverage Akash Systems’Diamond Cooling® to create the most energy and capital-efficient AI servers in the world. Diamond has the highest thermal conductivity of any known material, removing heat 5x faster than copper. This innovation is additive and complementary to existing air and liquid cooling technologies.
The integration of this technology provides:
- Temperature Reduction: Up to 10°C (18°F) reduction on both GPU and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM).
- Increased Efficiency: Up to 22% additional FLOPs/Watt in standard ambient data center temperatures (~75°F).
- Extreme Environment Performance: Up to 15% token throughput improvement in high ambient temperatures (~120°F).
